Subscription pricing

$65 CAD per practitioner per month. Everything Rivet does is in it — your practice number, the texts and voicemail, video sessions, and the clinical toolkit. Sales tax (HST / GST / PST) is added on top, worked out from your billing address. Cancel anytime. Pay yearly and it’s 10% below twelve monthly payments: $702 a year**, which works out to **$58.50 a month.

What’s included

Everything. The same list as the trial:

• Your practice phone line — a local Canadian phone number, with unlimited inbound and outbound calls inside North America, unlimited SMS inside North America (inbound from anywhere — clients can text you from abroad), and voicemail transcription on every missed call.
• Two-way SMS with auto-replies, per-category controls, and the conversation inbox.
• Video sessions — your permanent waiting room at getrivet.ca/your-name and on-demand session links. No participant cap on group sessions inside reasonable practice limits, no minutes meter, no per-session fee.
• Clinical templates — the full library of intake, screener, and session templates plus the per-practitioner customisation surface.
• EMDR — bilateral stimulation with visual and audio cues, set history, the 2.0 Hz speed cap, and the photo-epilepsy warning.
• The whiteboard — worksheets you and your client draw on together, inside the session.
• Session notes + per-session PDF export.
• Measurement-based-care templates — sending measures async or in-session, scoring, severity bands, trajectories.
• The client record — every session, measure and note against the person they belong to.
• App + browser push notifications — desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox), iOS, Android.
• Biometric unlock on phones.
• Your records in a Montreal data centre, encrypted at rest.
• A real human at the other end of hello@getrivet.ca.

Two limits on the line, worth knowing

• Calls and texts go out inside North America. Inbound from abroad is fine — clients can call or text you from anywhere. The outbound limit is a fraud-mitigation choice; the per-minute rates to some international destinations are how telecom abuse bills get to four figures overnight.
• Rivet provisions local Canadian numbers, not 1-800-style toll-free. Local numbers have better SMS deliverability and read as more personal to a Canadian client; toll-free numbers have neither advantage and a longer carrier-registration timeline.

If you have a use case for either — say, your clients are spread across provinces and want a toll-free option, or you have international clients you call regularly — email us. We can usually find a way.

Why there’s one price

Rivet is one product. The phone number, the texts, the voicemail and the video session are all ways your clients reach you, and pulling them apart would mean pricing one of your channels separately from the rest.

• Every feature is on the plan you already have. A practitioner in the middle of a session should be reaching for a worksheet, not reading about which plan includes one.
• The same bill every month, whatever kind of month it was. A busy practice with 200 voicemails pays what a quiet practice with 10 pays. No call is too expensive to make.
• One line on the invoice for your accountant, every month of the year.

The trade-off is that we charge the same for heavy use. We’re betting that the kind of practice that grows into heavy use is also the kind that tells colleagues about Rivet, and we’d rather earn the next practitioner than nickel-and-dime the current one.

Comparing to other tools

For context — you’d typically pay more for the parts taken separately:

• A dedicated practice phone line (OpenPhone, Google Voice, etc.): $15–$30 / month.
• A second phone, so work and personal stay apart: $60–$100 / month once you count the device and the plan.
• A telehealth video platform (Doxy, SimplePractice video, Jane video add-on): $25–$50 / month.
• A clinical-template library tied to your EHR: usually bundled into $40–$100 / month EHR pricing.
• EMDR-specific software (RemoteEMDR, Bilateral Base): $20–$30 / month.

The premise is that none of those tools alone solves the whole “I am a solo practitioner running a practice over the phone, by text, by video, with notes” problem. Rivet’s $65 covers all of it.

Group practices

If there are several practitioners in your practice, email hello@getrivet.ca or book a call and we’ll work out a number with you. Practices are priced as a bundle — a set number of lines and video rooms — rather than per head. Each practitioner gets their own room link, their own client list, and their own number. Nobody sees anyone else’s clients.
